Rocket Speller

Rocket Speller by Little Big Thinkers

I only recently discovered Rocket Speller by Little Big Thinkers and my 6 year old loves it! It features a cute little alien who needs your help to build a Rocket. By spelling words you help him fly to different planets, where he can pick up parts for his rocket (you get to choose what style/color part you would like). It takes 12 words to finish the rocket, and then you get to push a big red button to launch the rocket. There are five levels of difficulty enabling you to adjust the game to suit your child. The FREE version uses letter names, so if you prefer phonics you may want to purchase Rocket Speller PLUS for $2.99 (as well as containing phonics it has more words and more rocket parts). ~ Odd Socks Mummy

Now with 5 levels of difficulty, kids spell words to fuel his spaceship and help him choose the rocket pieces he needs. Once they have built their custom rocket ship, kids steer it through space to collect stars in an entertaining mini-game.
