Owlet Baby Care Monitor

(image taken from http://www.owletcare.com/)

When my daughter with Down Syndrome was a baby, this would have been an invaluable tool for me! Low oxygen levels are a common concern for parents of children with Down Syndrome, and also those whose babies have respiratory problems. This amazing device monitors oxygen saturation levels, as well as heart rate and temperature. All this information is delivered to your iPhone, as well as alerts of when your baby has rolled over. Fabulous!

To pre-order your Owlet smart sock, go to this link: http://www.owletcare.com/
Shipping will commence late October/early November, and the iOS app will appear on iTunes just prior to this. An Android version will be on its way some time later.

Cas loves hearing about new technology, especially to do with child care and involving apps.
