Good Free App of the Day: Toca Kitchen {A $2.99 app gone FREE for a limited time!}

Toca Boca has created many fantastic apps that allow children to get their creative juices flowing. For the first time, since it's release two years ago, Toca Kitchen is FREE.

Kids with special sensory needs will love being able to participate in the Toca Kitchen. There are no stinky fish smells or overly loud food processors to overload the little ones while they cook.

If you'd like to download Toca Kitchen (FREE, regularly $2.99, iPhone/iPad) please show your support by using our link:

This app contains no ads or in-app purchases, but external links are present under a protected parent section.

**Only the app's developer can control when an app is free or not. All apps that we post as free are verified to be free at the time of this post. We make no guarantees otherwise.**

You do not need any experience in the kitchen to love this app. Kids pick from four different characters to create a gourmet meal for. From slicing broccoli, to boiling potatoes, to sautéing fish, kids will enjoy exploring and creating in the kitchen.

There are no buzzers or negative reinforcement if the child does something "wrong" in the kitchen. If a child tries to feed a little girl raw potato, she simply makes a "blah" face and shows a picture of the skillet to remind the child she likes her potato cooked first.

This game is all about having fun, being creative, and letting kids have fun in the kitchen.  Children who love playing with food, have aversions to food, or just want to see what would happen if they throw a tomato in the food processor will get a kick out of this app.

From iTunes:

As with all Toca Boca toys, there are no high scores, time limits or stressful music. Your kids can play with it however they want!

Rachel H's son likes making his own version of "broccoli stew" to feed the oxen character in the game. He will not go within 10 feet of broccoli if I cook it.
