Zoe wrote: Hi guys! I have just bought a second iPad for my daughter's so they have one each . I am wanting a full list of your apps that you recommend, both special needs and general. I have a NT 2yr old and a 4yr old with asd who needs help with speech, social skills and basic concepts.

The following are answers from our readers:

Katie: Monkey Math and Monkey Word are great apps that are a lot of fun. Dexteria works on fine motor and tracing letters and numbers. Any of the Super Duper Publication apps are fantastic. Conversation Builder and the Social Express (pricey) work on social skills-great for using as a guideline to promote further socialization. Eggy 100 works on sight words that is implemented in a game. Toca games are good for the younger kids as well. There's so many that are such an excellent outlet for teaching and making it fun for any age.
