Good Free App of the Day: Behavior Support for Autism and Special Education

Are you working with a child who is displaying behavior issues? Are you not sure what to do next?  Behavior Support for Autism and Special Education provides basic information for approaching and planning for a behavior situation. Many teachers graduate college without much training on dealing with behaviors, but this app can provide some initial guidance. This app is a resource for any adult to understand more about labeling a target behavior, collecting data, functions of behavior and developing a plan to address the functions of behavior. Allow this app to provide initial information that can be implemented with any child. It is a great foundation.

If you would like to download Behavior Support for Autism and Special Education (free, iPhone/iPad 2x), please support Smart Apps for Special Needs by using our link:

This tool aims to give users a starting point in labeling target behaviors, identifying functions or motivations for the behaviors and beginning points to developing behavior support plans.

Additionally, the app connects the user to the website to access more teacher and parent resources. We hope that you will find our information useful and helpful for many years to come. Please tell a friend, family member or co-worker about us!

Highlights of the app include:
