On Sale: ASL Dictionary app (iPhone version) is discounted for a limited time

Need an ASL dictionary at your finger tips? Here is an excellent app for your iPhone and it is on sale for $2.99 for a limited time! With 5,200 signs in ASL the videos can show you the American Sign Language signs you need. The app is divided into seven different categories including words, idioms and phrases, alphabet, general numbers, money, time and dates.

***Only an app's developer can control when an app is on sale or free. All apps posted on sale are verified to be on sale at the time of the post.  We make no guarantees otherwise.

iPhone (on sale $2.99)      iPad ($6.99)

**The regular price of the iPhone app is $6.99 and it is currently on sale for $2.99. While I have only used the iPhone version, there is also an iPad app for $6.99. The iPhone app requires the Internet; the iPad app does not.**

5,200 signs in ASL shows each sign modeled on a short video where it can easily be replayed, looped or slowed down. The signer is very clear and simple to imitate. Both the beginner signer and the more advanced will be able to use this app to help them with learning individual signs or expanding vocabulary.

On the main page of the app there is an "About" section, which is very informative about sign language, multiple meaning words, numerical system, common phrases and audio. I have included a small excerpt:

Sign Language
There are many different forms of American Sign Language. For example, there are over 100 different ways to sign "Birthday".  ASL signs vary in different parts of the country and even in different small social groups. We tried to take this into account and provide signs that are most commonly used.

Expression is an important part of American Sign Language, including movement of the eyebrows, cheeks, eyes, lips, and tongue...

Note: If you are a hearing person, there is no sound with this application.

Download this app before it goes back to regular price! The same version is optimized for the iPad, but is sold separately.
