There are twelve FREE apps on today's Featured Free and Discounted Apps post, along with twelve discounted apps for a total savings of $65! Many of them are great for special needs, including the very fun Cutie Monsters apps. Preschoolers will enjoy using Cutie Monsters to play with puzzles, practice counting, learn descriptive words (curly, googly, tiny and more) and practice colors, with parent/teacher support.

**Sorry but some of these apps have returned to full price.  Sign up for our NEWSLETTER so you never miss out on great deals like these again**

The whole list is worth checking out, so be sure to head on over to Smart Apps for Kids and see them all. But be sure to get the Cutie Monsters app while still free (separate apps for iPad and iPhone). They are very well designed, with no external links or ads. I imagine is another great app, good for encouraging creativity while using the iPad or iPhone. It's great for older children, too--children at many ages like to see themselves in the book.
