Halloween Door Decoration Inspiration and a Contest!

Screen Shot 2014-10-12 at 1.22.47 PMAre you starting to prepare for Halloween? My kids are planning out their costumes (one Princess Jasmine, one Colin Kaepernick, one undecided) and thinking about our own treat bowl. I'm planning some non-food options and painting a pumpkin blue (to be ready for those with food allergies). I don't normally decorate, but this post from Good to Know Family (out of the UK) has me inspired to at least decorate my speech-language therapy room door.

I know we have some very creative followers, and I want to see your door ideas! Read on to find out how you can win a prize, just for decorating your door and sharing a picture with us.

Screen Shot 2014-10-12 at 1.54.42 PMWhether you like scary or cute, a door provides a great canvas for Halloween expression. My goal is to make a door that's school-appropriate (i.e., cute) and can be incorporated in some way into my therapy. We're currently working on descriptions, so it will likely be multi-colored with many different parts.

I want to see what our readers can come up with! First, check out the great slide show from Good to Know Family for inspiration. Then, spend some time creating a door with the kids. Share the photo with us, and enter into the random drawing for a prize!
