Intervention Central - Free resource for RTI and academic/behavioral interventions

I was introduced to this website just last week by the Director of Special Education for my school district.  Intervention Central is a site designed for teachers and schools that provides high quality free resources for assessment and academic and behavioral interventions. It features a wide variety of free tools including: Academic Intervention Planner for Struggling Students, Behavior Intervention Planner, Dolch Wordlist Fluency Generator, Learning Disability Accommodations Finder, Student Rewards Finder and so much more. The site has been around for more than a decade and can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.
While Intervention Central is designed for educators, I'm using the Academic Survival Checklist Maker as a parent to design a customized checklist for my son focusing on study skills and time management. I can download and share what I create with my son's teachers. Checklists can be made for Homework, Note-Taking, Organization, Study Skills, or Time Management. All the checklist items in the drop box can be edited. There are options for adding notes as well. This resource is easy to use and I love that my son can be an active participant in creating his checklist.

Have you used this resource? We'd love to hear how you use these free tools with your students or with your own children.  Share your experience in the comments below.

It's homecoming week at Sarah's school.  Go Rockets!
