List of Special Needs Stories Everyone Should Read

I have always been a huge reader. From quick young adult novels to in-depth thrillers where I have to take notes to keep up with the characters and motives, I always have a book going. When my son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the first place I turned was books. Doing an Amazon search for "books about autism" returned a ton of results, but that didn't mean they were relevant or beneficial. I just ran across this list of special needs books "you must read," and had to share. I have read some, but not all the books on the list. I am downloading many from this list onto my kindle now.

To see the full list of books as well as other suggestions for videos, novels and documentaries, head over to 12 amazing special needs stories you need to read from Friendship Circle of Michigan.
